Zoli CoWorking in Port-Louis

Friday, November 09, 2018

Hello lovely readers! Can you believe we are in November? In a couple of weeks from now we will be bidding farewell to 2018...so let's make it memorable!

2 weeks ago we hosted another event exclusively for the squad of women bloggers in Mauritius: Zoli Bloguettes! In the spirit of community we had a unique co-working session gathering the members for a day of collaboration and virgin moijtos!

Co-working is an emerging concept of working differently. It melds freedom and community. Freedom of working from outside your regular office or home-based workspace and plunging in the community of like-minded freelancers and entrepreneurs.

I am thrilled to see so many co-working spaces popping up in Mauritius. With such an array of venues to chose from, we decided to host our first #ZoliCoWorking in CoWorking Port-Louis. A beautiful revisited colonial house set in the heart of our capital.

We had a dedicated table outdoors which lightened up with our work-space essentials for our Zoli Bloguettes! A branded workbook to jot down ideas, motivational cards to set the tone for the day, local snacks served in coconut bowls (because hey, we are islanders!), table succulents with rose quartz (a stone known to lower stress, opening to positive energy and love) and finally scented soaps by Phydra.

The Zoli Bloguettes were free to explore the neighborhood and create content or work on the spot and tick off their to-do list for their respective blog tasks.

We had a table of lifestyle, culinary, personal and make-up bloggers! We talked about challenges, growth, travels and everything lovely around bottomless virgin mojitos.

With an easy access, inspiring surroundings and local restaurants just footsteps away, CoWorking Port-Louis was the perfect location for our first #ZoliCoWorking event.

We left with happy hearts, buzzing minds full of ideas and our spirits lifted high.
